As of this post, there is only one of these in existance (the grand prize 1st place Class-I Cyclone given in our 2008 points series is similar, but not identical) and only one of these with RC DriftClub specifications - the one you see here. Starting from a kit Cyclone Moorespeed edition, the "Raine Edition" features different specifications optimized for RC drifting, not to mention a unique red scheme never seen on a Cyclone chassis. Starting from a kit Cyclone Moorespeed edition, the "Raine Edition" features:
- Red anodized aluminum bulkheads
- Red anodized aluminum motor mount
- Red anodized aluminum layshaft mount
- Red anodized aluminum shock tower mounts
- Red anodized aluminum suspension blocks
- Red anodized aluminum servo mounts
- Red anodized aluminum heatsink rear deck
- Red anodized aluminum wheel nuts
- Red anodized aluminum shock caps
- Red anodized aluminum spring perches
- Red anodized aluminum steering rack
- Red anodized aluminum suspension shims
- Front aluminum ball differential
- Rear solid axle (spool)
- Red anodized aluminum CVDs
- Hand-filed and glued carbon fiber
- Silver titanium turnbuckles
- Chamfered gear exit
- 48-pitch gearing
- Special front/rear anti-roll bar specification
- Special front/rear spring specification
- Special front/rear drilled piston specification
- Special front/rear shock oil specification
- Special rear toe-block specification
- Special downstop/block spacer specification
- Special downstop/shock length/preload specification
Where can you buy one? You can't - well, not exactly. Yes, there is only one of this specific model in existence - for now. Other than buying the grand prize version from the winner of Class-I (which again, isn't exactly the same as the one pictured above), if you really want an RC DriftClub edition ride, there is a way to get one, but it will be very, VERY limited (meaning $$$). Contact Raine or Davep if you're serious. =)
