About RC DriftClub

Since its inception date in 2006, RC DriftClub has put on many events for RC drifters in our area. Here’s a list of some of the things we do =

DRIFT SHOWDOWN CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SERIES
Our inaugural 1/10 Championship Points series redefined the standard for RC drifting competition, with top-level competition and thousands of dollars in prizes for round and series overall winners.

SEASON 1 (2007)
6 Rounds (Speedtech RC, Bending Corners Raceway, HPI Racing USA)
Over $5,000 in prizes

SEASON 2 (2008)
4 Rounds (Speedtech RC, Zero1 Motors, HPI Racing USA)
Over $6,000 in prizes

“STREETSTYLE” NIGHT DRIFT COMPETITION
Changing it up, RC DriftClub created “StreetStyle” Drift Competitions, which were held in the evening under the night sky; a full-on competition where traffic and fender rubbing are part of the game, just like in actually night drift sessions.

SPECIAL THEMED EVENTS
RC DriftClub also hosted individual “single” events, usually with a theme to make competition more exciting.

SPECIAL EVENTS
RC DriftClub also participated in special collaborations, such as:

“Toys 4 Tots” Team Drift Challenge, in collaboration with the U.S. Navy, where teams of 5 drivers compete in multiple events to score overall points and grand prizes (Full RTR kits!) for all 5 drivers of the winning team!

HPI/Hot Bodies Drift Challenge Round 2, in collaboration with HPI Racing, held at the RCX expo in Pomona, CA. We ran the event for HPI/Hot Bodies, and introduced RC drifting to hundreds of spectators visiting the expo all weekend!

DRIFT SESSIONS
We have “Drift Sessions” where RC Drifters can drive an actual course, test and tune their ride, meet other RC drifters, hang out and have fun!
