losidrift.jpg

With JR, Trinity, and Novak electronics in the box, it looks like a nice RTR setup. The chassis is based on their XXX-S, but with the drift treatment. Here’s more info:

Round 3 Summary

r3summary.jpg

Round 3
Location: Speedtech RC
Date: May 12, 2007
Weather: Sunny

For Round 3 we returned to Speedtech RC in Walnut, CA. The weather was nice and sunny, but not too hot, and this round featured a very technical course that demanded more driving skill than anything previous. We also had our first “Special Challenge” of the series, known as “The Matt Damon” - where pairs of drivers would drift around the course using only ONE car and ONE radio! Yes, each driver took 1/2 of the controls - one on the trigger, and one steering. We also had a surprise treat from Speedtech RC owner Steve Wang, donating a brushless system from his store stock as the prize of the day.

RC DriftClub Volume One - Available Now!

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

RC DriftClub Volume One is not your typical “play a cool song in the background and cut together a bunch of random video clips” stuff that you’ve seen before. Volume One raises the bar for all others, and features event coverage from Round 1 of “Drift Showdown 07″ as well as other stuff, like qualifying explanations, battle brackets, and Class-S Drift Attack, where we brought the concept of ‘drift zones’ to U.S. RC drifting before anyone else… all professionally edited by our own Dave P., and directed in a style that drifters are familiar with, so to speak (when you see it, you’ll understand what I mean!)
